James R. Abernathy in front of painting, "It Was Bully", depicting "Catch um Alive", Jack Abernathy and President Teddy Roosevelt. The pair hunted wolves in The Big Pasture in south-western Oklahoma. Jack, of course, caught the wolves ALIVE, with his bare hands. Roosevelt was anxious to hunt with Jack and see for himself, the skills of this Oklahoma man.
